Both – Hyundai has the capacity to swamp the market , and Samsungs capacity is only slightly less – the only real competitor they have now is the NEC Fab in Shanghai , along with LG – the three main South Korean Chaebol’s combined to try and corner the ucom market , they have done ok so far – although the Hyundai Wafer-Fab in Fife , Scotland , was built then immediately mothballed .

In fact in the middle age , Paris cimeteries were located near the churches. After a cpiple of centuries , they were so unhealthy that they decided to move them (the cimeteries :))
Rich people could afford a decent grave for their families , and the other people were burried stored in the catacombs.
Anyway I suspect that your dad told you the story already.

Yep we had a couple of battles here. Some of them against the Britons by the way 🙂 , but maybe you’re a Scott …..

I went for the first time to Omaha beach on last year , and we visited the American cimetery: that’s really impressive .

That’s why when some profane the graves , it bugs me a bit…

Yup , I know the Catacombs are massive , in London they have started excavating them and dumping the bodies in mass graves – no respect for the dead .
And yup , I’m definately Scottish , interestingly I’m reading a book on Robert the Bruce who defeated the Edward I ‘s army at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314 , his real name was Robert de Brus and it was he who signed a pact with France to attack the English from the North and unseat them from Ireland , this pact is still referred to in Scottish history as the “Auld Alliance”

Anyways, the chips inside are exactly the same as with compact flashes, except for an additional microcontroller/processor to convert the memory address to USB format…bascially parallel to serial plus extra functionalities like encriptions. So, in theory, a four chip stack like those in compact flashes mean they can make at least 2GB versions and charge you roughly the same price…but no, these things are many times more expensive, there goes profittering for you…. 😡

A very good point , NEC now have the capability to produce ucom logic/memory chips with an onboard databus up to 4GB using existing manufacturing processes , so the price should stay roughly the same ……. ******** the first four chip sim board cost $16 and when it was mass production capable the price dropped to $2 , the 4GB versions ( the S chip ) cost much the same to manufacture but they tried to charge $16 for it – now their semi-conductor foundry in Livingston ( the largest in Europe ) is lying mothballed – the Koreans kicked the feet from under the market – now Hyundai have more or less cornered the market – even badge producing them for other semi-con manufacturers.

If you plan to visit Paris , I guess that RyanAir has some good deals from Glasgow.

My dad is fascinated by the catacombs and they both love Paris , I want to do a Battlefield Tour , I did see some of the Battle of the Somme trenchworks but only briefly , maybe one day .

Hey , I stayed at a wee place called Joigny (spelling ) about 60km South of Paris while heading south for a water skiing holiday near Nice , it was a great wee place – nice people , good wine , good food . Was kind of let down by the South , not as nice or as friendly as I expected . I would like to get to Paris sometime to tour the Catacombs and other stuff , my parents used to go twice a year and they loved it .
