[B]Why do market researchers ALWAYS approach me??
Give them a glazed look and repeat ,
” I am a fully double glazed , fitted kitchen with vertical blinds and am a child eating devil worshipper ” – then ask for their address , works well too with the Hare Krishna’s too , doesn’t go down well when the wife is with you though.

A school teacher has just been arrested at Edinburgh Airport trying to board his flight with a calculator , paper and pens , he is suspected of carrying weapons of maths instruction.

Don’t forget the North-South divide between Scotland and England. Never mind Italy!.Here in Caledonia, English baiting is a national pastime and when England get whacked at football it is like Mardi Gras night in New Orleans up here in Scotland!.
Still with all the Jocks in Tony Blair’s government we are doing not badly.
Yo , I still maintain that us Scots invaded England years ago , they just ain’t realised it yet . They get a Scottish Prime Minister ( educated at Fettes ) and we almost made them keep Robin Cook too!!.

There are 2 things one needs to take a great photo 1. Ability 2 the eye for it.Now any fool can, with practise get and aircraft in mid frame and in focus (Lord knows if I can do it anyone can), but it is a special talent that has the eye for a good photo.
Take the Lanc, a simple enough photo but taken in the context of the City of Lincoln and you have something a bit special.
Great stuff Mr B. Game on for the next week at Legends and RIAT.
Well said , I bought some recommended Canon kit just for East Fortune this Saturday but my results so far have been abominable , I could live to be 200 yr old and still never get a photo anywhere near the standard of Damien’s stuff.
Can you still buy Polaroid Instant Cameras:confused:

In my ATC days I flew in a Varsity.
My first ever trip abroad in an aircraft was a Viking which took me from somewhere in the UK to Perpignan in S France.
Long old haul at those speeds.
It had a downward looking window in the bog. You could sit doing your business whilst watching the French countryside slide past your Y-fronts at about 180 knots.
