Nice informative article, you do not see many of these vests, I always wondered why the RAF chose the similar style made by Frankenstein?
I think Donald Campbell also wore one of these RFD vests in Bluebird?
Thanks for posting.
Yes. Happy new year everyone, get the grey matter rattling for a productive 2011………………….
I was there , what a fantastic AEROBOOT!
Many thanks to all concerned – Coming back MARCH 2011!
Yes, this is an awsome item of flight gear, I bet it would cost an absolute fortune.
Plug Hole?
Plug Hole?
Super quality, thanks for posting!
I can’t wait for the Newark Air Museum night photoshoot!
Admirable………………….
See you at Bruntingthorpe then……………………
558 you have asked all the questions that were floating around in my mind too! Hope they have enough buses from Brandon?
I do so wish them all luck, and hope the weather is kind, such a valid cause.
Unfortunately I live a heck of a way from Coventry Airport, take your cycle lock you may find a free fence to chain it to, have a good day!
XH558 Thanks for letting me know, may have to skirt round this one for now, cheers.
I have thought about going too, but I dont want bus trips all round the place!
As I see it, when (and if) you manage to park on the Airports designated parking spaces (limited to 2,000) you have to get another bus to take you to the other side.
What time does anyone suggest I get there to secure a space on the Coventry Airfield then?
It is the closest thing to Martin Seamaster I can find, is it an early prototype possibly?
Beautiful lines!

Here is my PEC but it has the fitment for the pressure jerkin.
It would be nice to see the other side of this PEC, I have something that looks similar, and was told it could be V Force related?
Good luck.
