I’m a pensioner and almost the last thing I want is a Bingo Hall. Nor do I want any of those patronising books like computing for seniors. Nor would I want to live in an old airfield married quarters with a pile of old people because the cost of commuting to anywhere worthwhile would be too great and I don’t like ghettos, although according to local yoof I live in one now.

I want to live next to an active airfield near the south coast with a bunch of people of all ages.

Bunsen, I agree 100% – But we need EE Lightnings “parting our hair” at roof top level, Wish we could get in a Time Machine and set it back for 1970.

    Hi there Howard 500,

So glad you brought this question onto the forum.

We love XP924, or G CVIX as she is more formally known – Red Bull did wonders with their “corporate can scheme,” but it’s so nice to see her back in FAA livery.

OK, it’s 2 hungry Avons to feed, but so graceful and such a style icon?

Also, Aircrew member depicted is wearing the later “green stuff” with (looks like to me) 52′ pattern Boots?

Great! Saturday March 3rd 2012 for the INDOOR AEROBOOT suits us fine – This means we can attend V FORCE as well.

Thanks for re appointing the date – It has bothered me for most of today. Nice one!

A big thanks from us too! A great day, some nice bits and bobs were on offer. And to reiterate the sentiments of ANON we all had a lot of fun, and laughs!

Thanks for all your efforts that must have gone on by you lot to stage the NAM AEROBOOT.
