If they are ACTUALLY promoting the TU 204 its good to know that. That aircraft has with all that potential has been made and murdered by Russia.
The best looking airliner now would be the IL 62M!:)
UAL is acting like an idiot with this. Its already under Ch. 11 and they are not using those aircrafts. If they sell it will be better for them.

Dont mean any offense but wouldnt it be funny seeing them advertising (in big photos) indian food on the side of the aircraft. Not the western meat stuff (which i happen to love) but the veggie stuff eaten by Indians!
Hmmm not following what your pointing there Andy.
You can feel the elections are coming close.:D

Sorry – not keen on that at all.I like what they’ve got now, has a retro feel to it, but also captures some of Indias culture and traditions with the designs around the window. A slight modernisation of their current scheme would be nice.
The only tradional thing that is shown on the current AI livery is the window designs. Otherwise its just a red streak running through the fuselauge. As much as i like the current c/s i am all for a change.
that looks awsome!
once read a similar thing in AW about hail ripping of the nose section of a VC 10 to Bahrain.
very well made Sandy.
Thanx for the help guys.

Hey Waspie.Last year I took some snaps at the stand at Menorca, they had some DC10s there ready for scrap by the look of it, the windows were all taped up n stuff.
I will try and scan them and post them later. Not sure if they are still there.
Cheers,
Alex.
They retired the DC 10s, to fill in till the A340s they leased some B742s i think?
