PII….what is wrong is that Boeing is trying to use old airframes with new technology. Thats not going to be there trump card……and they are failing to understand that.

Well the most exotics i see are Druk Air BAe 146 and the An 124s.

They recently placed an order for a couple(4-8?) of Airbus A319/320 aircraft, but cancelled it due to “lack of money”.

But only a couple of months later, news about Boeing building a large regional service center(where all Boeing airplanes operated in Eastern Europe will go to be serviced & repaired) right beside Belgrade Airport, appeared on Serbian government websites.

So, we can only guess what this means:D

Personally, im guessing that if this new line to New York succeeds, they will buy a couple of wide-body aircraft, probably B767, to service such cities as New York, LA, Chicago and Toronto – where a large number of Serbians and other ex-Yugo’s live.

I’ve got a pin from the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Not sure if it was an Olympic pin or an Aeroflot one, but it features the Olympic rings and a Tu-144S silhouette. The idea was to use the aircraft to fly VIPs and athletes (particularly Soviet ones) I believe. Dunno how rare it actually is, but it’s the best I can offer!
