Yes…the normal size containers would not fit in the concorde….. only about 4 come in the A300 i think.

    Thanx for that SOC.

Wys even if Concorde is converted into a F they will have to increase the playload…probably open all galley area and connec baggage area with main area….so i guess it MTOW will be higher than present. If they keep everything same…then anyway too…useless.

Now, frankly, if you were loading 12 tons of freight manually, you’d be as well using a jumbo, loading a pallet, flying it across the pond, unloading the pallet, and it’d probably still arrive well before the Concorde was unloaded…

And if you are only talking about what you could load manually quickly… no one could feasibly afford to (as well as) lease an aircraft, using up 80 odd tons of fuel in the process, just so a package arrived an hour or two earlier… (and the a/c would have to return to base…)

Quite agree that such a type conversion of the Concorde will be useless.

I dont know…i have a feeling it will….the concorde seats only about 140 i think……and MOTW is 185070 kg…definately it will depend on cargo but if it is configured for that it should take more weight than that.
