I agree on the point that tackeling hijackings should be from the cabin and not the cockpit. Plus the idea of putting a timer is not appropriate….the cockpit should not be made like a safe…..it should be easily accesable for the RIGHT purposes.

Most hijacking scares are with a man with a knife or a small blunt instrument….passengers together can overpower these kind of situations anytime, thats diff. that 90% of them will not even try to breathe. An act like happened on BA flight from kenya(?) when the passengers with the crew overpowered the hijack attempt.

Sky Marshals is an okish idea although effective as El Al has prooved but we have to keep in mind all flights cannot have Sky marshals. Now the terrorism links being spread world wide you cant put sky marshals in all flights..its impossible.
