even if you have the best avionics, best aircraft…but still the same maintanence policy, even best a/c can become flying coffins. Aeroflot is very poor in maintanence specially with there IL 86 and IL 62 varients.

theres a hill near Kai Tak (cant remember the name), you just stand on the south side of it and these kindof pics are very easy to take.

I met with an SAS official and he said most SAS air hostesses are well over 45 and SAS also cant remove them because of there powerful union. Anyway i agree on the American crew bit. Although i have only been on UA, and that wasent that bad, maybe because there were only 24 passengers on the B767. I was travelling from HK to Delhi.

Dutchy…goto your user menu icon which is in the forum lobby. Select Edit Profile and there will be a space for Avtar Image. Your pic must be on the net. Copy the link of the pic in the avtar image section. Thats it. 🙂

I was on a flight from Mumbai to Delhi, Jet Airways B737-800. The a/c was hit with lightning and there was a loud bang. Of course the whole flight was startled and panicky. Aircrafts can very well take lightning. Lightning can only distrupt the radar system of the a/c, although the radar system also has DR adapters which can absorb some amount of energy making damage minimum.
