    RE: Overreaction regarding safety measures?

Interesting…carrying a pistol is quite agreeable. I agree that removing early seat booking wont be a much effective soultion. People like to book there seats in advance…but if this rule is imposed..it cant be helped. One thing that took my interest is about not carrying hand baggage. Even if all airlines start doing this…again it cant be helped. I dont think there will be a reduction in passenger numbers as they cannot avoid flying. I mean they wont start going to London by ship cause you cant carry your hand bagage on board. here is something interesting i found…….

RE: Lufthanser Cancel orders for A380!!!!

HAL(Hindustan Aerontics Limited) has also pulled out from making the doors for the A380 which were planned before. Air India only had its DEL-HEATHROW-NY flight which was considered the money maker for Air India which is currently grounded and Air India is facing tough consequences for this. They have already got a shock of SIA pulling out of the AI bid, right now its bad time for all.

    RE: Airlines on the edge

What excuse the airlines are giving for losses is that passengers are feeling scared of flying after the attacks which i think is rubbish. The airlines are still minting money as usual in the western coast and also in central America. Then whats all the fus about. I agree that airlines have got a good excuse now for layoffs.

RE: passenger plane( that is what they say) hits world trade center.

Ok, few months ago the Americans raised there voice to get the security checks down on domestic flights. So the government did, know i think they paid the price. After the closure of all airports United did operate 5 flights to fly special forces in NY and Washington.

    RE: BA & A380?

I just wanted to point out if airlines keep saying this that they are in no need of the A380….the A380 is going to run into some turbulence. They just cannot go on with 60 orders in there hands.

RE: BA & concorde pilot trouble

Thats ok Shaun…what i meant to say is that normally let the flight be just inside Europe for the Concorde, no pilot is going to refuse to it except some pilots. Seeing the world is a good part of the job of a pilot…but for a Concorde pilot, flying the Concorde is bigger than that…everyone can see the world…not everyone can fly the Concorde.

RE: BA & concorde pilot trouble

rubbish…..all Concorde pilots are proud of flying that machine…and they know that plane more than any one else. They know it still has some more in it…feeling unsecure…not a chance.

No pilot will say No to flying the Concorde. And i think they all will be very happy to come back to flying the Concorde.

    RE: Britannia

I think it was high time that Britannia took this decision. There livery looks very outdatted. But putting smily faces…not a bright idea.
