Having flown AY’s MD 11 numerous times over the past 3 years I find it astonishing on how a crash can suddenly awaken everyone on how ‘unsafe’ this aircraft has always been. :rolleyes:

I mean why wait for the details to come out from the investigation, or details of cargo fire being reported by the crew prior to landing and all that. Who needs those details eh. 🙂

Reminds me I was talking to Narain Karthikeyan, the ex F1 driver from India and he told me F1 drivers have a tendency to loose somewhere between 2-4 kgs of weight per race!
