That has happened to me. I keep my photo’s at less than 250kb and only post in batches of three and then it seems to work.

Here’s what I think after reading the latest posts.

Damien – Either go and prove him wrong (he has offered the opportunity) or let it go.

Martin – It probably would be quite sensible to keep quiet now. Your publicity has, as far as I can see, spiralled out of control. You are promising much but have yet to deliver. Don’t dig a bigger hole for yourself. I, and I’m sure, all of us, would like to see you succeed. At the moment we have little to give us confidence that you will. Let’s hope it all works out and we can all say in a few years time “that Halstead chaps bought how many A340’s?”

Just as an aside, why would you be on Letterman? Beware he isn’t trying to take the mickey out of you.

Just listened to it as well.

Adds absolutely nothing at all to what has been said or unsaid about the airline.

He’s living his dream. But we have nightmares too. Let’s hope the nightmare period for Martin is just the wait to get everything in place.

The question is did it clock in? Did it have a H&S Lecture and an adequate induction? Was it assigned its own desk and given guidance on remuneration and the Company pension plan?

If not, I’m sure the frog could take you to a tribunal. Was it given verbal and written warnings before dismissal? Was it dismissed for GRASS misconduct or is that just a leap of imagination?

Unless it’s mission was industrial espionage? That would account for the croak and dagger approach to your desk.

Well on Sports Center they are reporting that any fan who wants a refund will recieve it and their is talk that this is going to be the last GP in the States.

And so they should. But in such a litigious country as the USofA I’m sure a good number of people will be seeking recompense for all expenses incurred over the weekend. Shouldn’t be in the least surprised if someone doesn’r try to sue fpr post traumatic stress disorder.

Isn’t NASCAR a bit boring? Oh, look, it’s another oval, set the car up to do the turns and the drivers main input then is avoiding wreckage. Too many crashes, too much safety car and the same endless drone as the cars go round and round with the ones who don’t smack into the wall or each other being left to see who can cross the line first.

The old ETCC in the late 80’s was superb. Door handle to door handle in cars like the BMW 635 csi, Rover SD1, Sierra XR 4×4’s and Cosworths on tracks like Donington and the old Nurburgring. I remember Tom Walkinshaw and Gerhard Berger competing at Donington in a 6 or 8 hour endurance race. Now that was racing….

Interesting dilemma.

One could say that as Michelin bought the wrong tyres, it is their fault entirely. If the cars weren’t safe on the tyres bought by Michelin then the drivers were right not to race. As for the chicane, that would have imposed unfair conditions on the Brigestone runners as they managed to bring the right tyres.

Fundamentally, it’s a huge foul up by Michelin who should be severely punished for the debacle which followed.

I would think it’s probably the end of F1 in America.
