I’m on dial up but it’s ok because I will be sending Lance the bill.
Superb photo’s. Seems like the airport pub early evening then.

How big’s that car of yours, Kev? 😉
Well, I have to say it is not anywhere near as big as the fares I will be charging. 😉
I’ve already got Tom ‘booked’ as it were so I can ferry another three. You’re a definite Lance seeing as you’re buying the beer so that leaves room for two more hopefuls. If we settle at either AVP or pub, you know, the pub, I suppose I could try and run a shuttle service to and from the terminal.

The pub is an icredible spot Dan. You just might need a smaller camera. Don’t get rid of the Minolta just yet.

Ahhhh kids.
AVP in morning, then round to airport hotel for close-ups, food and beer, then back to AVP late afternoon with a brief stop on rooftop car park. Should fill the day in nicely.

I have no problem with keeping exotic/dangerous animals as long as they are kept responsibly, a concept ZRX61 has obviously yet to grasp. As Pluto rays, the irresponsibility of the mindless minority ruins the situation for everyone else.

Wys.
Thanks for that. I’ve often wondered whether there was any particular reason for the differences.

Superb.
Are those shots as they appear in the viewfinder or do you crop them and tinker with them at all? I remember the BHX shots you adjusted for me were a dramatic improvement. I’m not au fait with photoshop so basically only resize my shots. I think perhaps it’s time I learned what to do.

Last batch… Hurrah I hear you cry.
Two of a HLX F100.
Portugalia F100.
And at 8:15pm I decided I’d had enough. Five hours of standing, but only two falls, meant my legs had had enough so I dragged my weary self back to the car. The drive home saw a yellow helicopter (HEMS?) in the Jodrell Bank area and also saw me stopping at every service station on the M6 due to cramp.
A very tiring day but well worth it as it helped me get used to the camera and wasn’t bad from a spotting point of view. I do like the AVP and its facilities and only hope it is replaced by something equally good should it be lost in MAN’s expansion plans.
Hope you all enjoyed my day out.
