Now I know you’re kidding, I lived in Brum for 4 years back in the 80’s and I know what a sophisticated lot you all are.I even worked over the road from the 3 tuns in Oxley, so you could almost call me a local.

Bah, Brummies….
I’ve drunk in the 3 tuns in Oxley, I’ve even been drunk in the 3 tuns in Oxley 😮
As for being local? Too far from the pig on the wall at Gornal, who, incidentally, I shall be passing tomorrow morning.

A pie recipe….
1. Take one steak and kidney pie.
2. Remove top.
3. Take out meat but leave gravy. Feed meat to dog.
4. Take four slices of bread and butter them liberally.
5. Place pie casing on one slice and pie lid on another.
6. Add copious amounts of Middleton’s chips. (Batter bits optional)
7. Add condiments of your choice.
8. Place remaining slices of bread on top.
9. Slice in half.
10. Prepare a steaming hot cup of tea.
11. Enjoy…….

Might sound stupid in terms of the technology in use today, but could it be a trailing aerial?

I found out about the moles through the WRAFCSG – The Weasel,
Rat and Ferret Covert Surveillance Group. You can visit theit website at:
http://www.wrafcsg/watchoutforthempeskymoles
Unless of course that’s already been infiltrated.
Have you heard anything from the Rushings lately? Their SOFDMSOBM have been increasingly active of late.

The mice on the underground are gathering information for the government.
But above ground it’s the magpies. They killed off the sparrow resistance group, it’ll be the starlings they go for next.
Don’t trust moles either….

Fantastic explanations guys. Thank you very much for that. If I might ask you to indulge me a little further? The 146’s and RJ’s were taking off much more steeply than they normally do, was there any significance to that? And how would the Dash 8’s cope with the conditions? Their departures (and arrivals) seemed a little hairy to me.

You’re both wrong. It’s QANTAS latest cost cutting measure. If they’d have taken the photo just ten minutes later it would have shown three engineers actually changing the engine in flight. It’s the latest way to cut the ‘down’ time on their fleet. Following the engine change the ‘duff’ one is parachuted into the nearest Rolls Royce dealer.
