    “Reach for the sky” by any chance? The reference to Douglas Bader declaring his squadron non-operational, the Squadron being 242.

    Speaking of zooms, which I know absolutely nothing about, my Fuji2800Z has a 6x optical zoom. In the shot below, the aircraft was turning over Central Walsall for runway 15 at BHX. I was being taken for a walk by the dog in a park over three miles away. Not the best but I’m still impressed with the result.
