    Is it the Lincoln you’re interested in or Cosford generally? I took quite a few pictures at cosford today truing out a new camera, but no more of the Lincoln.

    Had a great afternnon thanks. I’m a regular visitor anyway, 5 or 6 times a year but this was the first time with the camera. Overall I’m reasonably satisfied.

    Now, I know this is in an RAF scheme, but where these days are you likely to see one in civilian colours?

    Andrew,

    as you can see I had an enjoyable afternon at the RAF Museum, Cosford. The airliners are from the British Airways Museum which is based there.

    Now, a Viscount. I used to love seeing these fly over my house as a child on the approach for one-five at BHX. A wonderful sound.

    Went to Cosford today. Unfortunately the Morris Traveller is in an Army green scheme. It was refurbished and donated by the REME at Donnington. I did take a couple of photos. Also, a David Brown tractor and Crossley fire tender. Let me jnow if you want the photos.

    Firstly, press reports in the UK at the time the museum was looted seemed to indicate that it was done by organised gangs waiting for just such an opportunity.

    Iraq wasn’t invaded it was liberated wasn’t it? What I don’t understand is people whining about the looting of a museum when hospitals are being stripped of anything down to and including light switches! If you’re going to invade/liberate a country doesn’t it behove you to protect its vital infrastructure? Apart of course from the oil ministry?
