Even the targetted mtbf of 5 hours for software is horrible. Sounds like it’s chock full of of expensive gizmos that might not work half the time.
I must say that despite the corny acronym, the complete integration of functions is very impressive.
What Iranian threat? I’d like to know. It doesn’t seem so much of a buildup as it is a modernization.
I don’t think the extra 128megs in the 256 card really makes a difference when it comes to gaming. He just bought it to make us all jealous!:p
Yes, but ATI only recently started to make Pro cards with 256 megs of onboard memory. So it’s probably a 9600 or 9800. I don’t remember if the 9700s came in a 256 version.

They had no ‘prior experience’ – don’t forget that the Yak-44 never flew, nor was it ever built.
Oh, right.
P4 3.06Ghz
ATI Radeon 256Mb Pro 1280×1024 with full AA and AF
1Gb PC2700 RAM
That’s just sick…..
sweeet! Hope they give it some nice bass pounding ear shattering Dolby digital sound!
I thought I read that among the problems with the An-70, one was not having enough time to properly develop the engines/propellers. If that was the case, I don’t see why if they’ve had prior experience with the Yak-44.

Either that, or your piloting skills need improvement. Killing a MiG-27 can be done with your eyes closed.

My pics of the large-scale model of the Yak-44 in the Yakovlev museum are at :- http://66.226.87.135/yak-44.htm

Does that yak-44 have similar propellers to the An-70?
Very nice- keep ’em coming. So, how’re the kill ratios against the IAF? 🙂
I didn’t know A-10s could refuel?
Can you get a picture of you crashing into another plane? Mwaa haa ha.
It almost looks like a hybrid Mig-21.
