Really? I was going to say just the same. I always get a kick out of the way some anti-intellectual types react when one of their outrageous and unsupported claims is challenged or when a point is made that their can’t counter. Funny when they can’t counter historical facts and have no recourse but to call the other person a commie, or follower of Noam Chomsky, which is the same.:)

Here’s an example of a typical conversation with Sauron:

Person: Well, I don’t think the US was justified in going to Iraq.

Sauron: What? Anti-US rhetoric- he’s a commie! No criticizing of the US allowed, and no, I don’t have any historical claims to back up my opinons.

Person: The US has overthrown democracies in Iran and Guatemala to install dictatorships.

Sauron: I’m not going to bother doing the research for that since you’re obviously a commie, and those facts are wrong. Throw him into that lake boys! If he floats, he’s a commie- kill him. if he sinks, well, that’ll teach ’em.

Sounds like you’re a fan of the Alien & Sedition act of 1798.

    Cheers.

The pic was just released yesterday, but no word on when it was actually taken….

OK, here’s some info. Your aicraft IDing skills are impeccable Arthur.

“Seen here on a trials mission from BAE Systems’ Warton facility on 5 February, Tornado GR.1 (ZA354) of the BAE Systems test fleet is one of only two remaining airworthy GR.1s and has been heavily involved in trials for the type. “

Actually, no, the CIA doesn’t take full responsibility for the facts, since they don’t want to declassify all the data, e.g. the names of the people they targeted for execution, among other things. I don’t know or care who Noam is; is that the best you can do to disparage my character since you have a lack of factual information? Good try, but you fall short.:p

“Just a wild guess, but are you an American? One of those Americans who live the good life and feel guilty about it? The kind that turns up at a ‘peace march’ with a sign that says. ‘America is a terrorist state’ or maybe ‘Bush is worse that Hitler’?”

I’m just one of those people on this board who corrects ignorant Canucks.

“Yes, I am from Ontario, Canada, a fact which I clearly show, unlike some others who are apparently ashamed to stand up and state where they live.”

    You mean Arthur and SOC?

“An yes I do think that the end sometimes justifies the means. “

Well that’s unfortunate; since we’re obviously on different moral pages here, end of discussion. I pity whomever else thinks like that, whether they are proponents of the USSR or US’s policies.

I figured it was some sort of variant of the G-series, but it just looks a bit odd. cetme you say, eh?
