That is incorrect. For example the FLANKER family is up to H in the series. where did you think FLANKER G and H came from? FULCRUM is up to G. MiG-AT received the codename MISER and the Yak-130 has the codename MITTEN. Designators and names never went away. Radars, missiles etc are all still named by the west. Another example is the SU-47 which received the codename FIRKIN.

Oh, so they’re like hte USN’s MoSS? Mobile Submarine Simulators? Packed into a torpedo chassis, and packed with noise emitters mimicking a submarine signature?
Are the Ka-50/52s getting any sort of order? They’re not being accepted except on a small basis in Russia’s domestic market, and Turkey probably won’t go with them either.
I’m not sure I know what you mean by ‘camera forum’? To talk about camera parts, or what?
The WM is a reasonable guy; maybe if enough people want it, he will put up a separate forum for it. There aren’t that many plane spotters here int he ModMil Forum to warrant one, although it’s probably different in teh historic forum.
