Kind of reminds me of the old USS Albany with the really tall smoke stacks, and mix of WWII and modern missiles.

Wow, the FS engine can support seamless a2a combat with some 100 bombers and 50 fighters in the air at once!? What kind of a gaming rig do you need for that?!

The latest news from JDW is that Russia and the US are to also cooperate on ABM technology, leaving the only other country out….e.g. China. My bet’s on the PRC rather than the DPRK.

Currently Japan is stronger, why? It’s navy is much stronger than the Chinese, or the South Korean or Taiwan’s Navies even combined. The Japanese Navy is not only large but very sophisticated with some of the best ASW capabilities in the World. Having that said, the Japanese AF is no joke either, perhaps the strongest in E. Asia. Although China has many more Flankers and much bigger AF now than anyone in Asia, the Japanese have over 200 F-15s with AWACS(something China does not have).

Ah, but the question is, what about in ten years’ time? 🙂 There is no doubt that aside from the USN presence in the Pacific, the JSDF is the most powerful force there.

$30 mil does not sound too expensive, if it is a M2K-5. I am not sure if the figure is accurate.

cannot question them otherwise you have to show me some explicit Russian

I resent that, as you can see I refused to shovel more wood on that fire. All I did (originally) was suggest that allowing Pakistan to buy advanced weapons might not be a completely bad idea. And it was Golden Arrow not phrozenflame who jumped all over me for it. I only joined here a couple of weeks ago but I am already getting the impression that this place is more of a flamethrower target range than a forum. So far I have been napamed twice it two weeks after making about a dozen posts. I have been posting on acig.org for years and have never been flamed.
