I have only seen pictures of the Su-30MKK with the Kh-59ME.
Could be an interim missile. AFAIK, the MK was tailored to Chinese specifications.
i think it would probably still make too much noise unless she gets one of those B-2 stealth with sound padding bedpan models 🙂
She could just fill the bedpan with sand or something, like a kitty litter, eh? Forego the lawsuit and all, AND conserve water usage. Everybody’s happy then.
Are there pies in Titus Andronicus?
human pies….or maybe it was a soup. I read it so long ago I don’t recall anymore.
I thought the Chinese had the TV-guided Kh-59ME only.
I’m pretty certain they have the MK version, or at least that’s the version that was supposed to come with their Su-30 MKK package.
Now, will I get into trouble for making such a statement???
Anyway, congrates from me also guys for the victory. One wish: I hope Santa
will remain as neutral here as he is in CMF. I trust he will. Also, glad that there are no CDF members selected here.
santa? I don’t think santa posts here.
It’s only one letter more to use them rather than dem, so why not type them?
one letter is a lot you know. why in that time period, I can tip my chair backwards and relax.

happy now? 🙂
Is a ‘dem’ koala a particular breed ?
dem = slang/my laziness for ‘them’.
i just added to your reputation that will nullify the negative rating giving koala eater. VIVA LA KOALALANDIA! 🙂
lol, thanks.
that’s funny, the picture didn’t come out.
Would think so…. PL-2 perhaps?
Mark
take your pick.
Any info on the A-pole in that scenario? Or the range of the active seeker on the SD-10?
The predecessor to the SD-10, the AMR-1 active seeker head, had a range of about 20-25km.
Here’s a decent web page covering AIM-9 family…

Great site Mark2, thanks.
Anyone know what kind of seekers head the ASRAAM uses? The Iris-T has an InSb one I believe. Wouldn’t that put it in the previous generation; I thought that MCTs were the way to go for future dogfight missiles.
*Early* IR AAMs used PbS seekers.
Later on, the PbS seekers were cooled (e.g. AIM-9G/J, R-60M).
InSb came later with AIM-9L and R-73 generation.
Thanks overscan. I didn’t mean *that* early though. 🙂
Aww, thanks for giving me a negative rating on this thread, whoever you are, you koala eater.
Also, any news on export sales of the Be-200? I thought there was a rumor that the US Forestry Service was intending to purchase some to replace their old WWII Catalinas.
