A Snipper? Is that Snapper’s relative of sorts?
the thing is, if you can somehow steer a smaller asteroid to collide with the incoming one, the resultant explosion will be far bigger than what any nuclear missile can posibly produce.

Say Google, any more on the FD-60 from Jane’s?
unfortunately not.
hey guys, let’s cool it. 🙂
Actually, the Anza III sounds more like a Pakistani equivalent of the Chinese DK-9 SAM/guns system (using the PL-9), except without the guns.
The Anza III info is interesting. IIRC, there was some information recently about the PA purchasing a new Chinese SAM, possibly the medium range KS-1A.
The Anza appears to be much shorter range, but using converted AAM technology- does that suggest that they decided on not purchasing the converted LY-60 Chinese SAM b/c they were unhappy with its performance, or wanted an indigenous equivalent?

The KS-172 back to LIFE?? Wow! Now that would be something.Full boosted range I think is near 400km, unboosted about half that IIRC.
Google, do you have JMR subscription or something? Good info posted. 🙂
Full range is 400km, but to abide by MTCR agreements, it probably will have to be reduced to 300km. roger.
Check this thread for more info. The article is on the 3rd page, but there were some pictures before then.
Do a search for it, posted the article before. Max is 400km, IIRC, though it might be lowered for export.
India deploying the KS-172 in the future? Sounds like trouble for any potential PAF AWACS and current PLAAF AWACS.:)
Besides, there’s already been a pretty good movie about Waterloo with Christopher Plummer as The Duke.

I’m sure they’re folded, just like in many ASMs that are fired from ship platforms, the fins are folded but pop out after launch.
I was referring to the original poster, sillies. 🙂
