It’s called SST: Hero of the Federation, and it’s going straight to DVD. It sucks. Although, the one character who’s returning from the original is Brenda Strong- she played Captain Deladier in the last one.

The USAF is thinking of mounting Viper Strike munitions on the AC-130s in the future to replace the 105mm gun. I believe the usual C-130 has provisions for 2 underwing pylon fuel tanks (1379 gallon tanks).

surly the South Koreans understand that when, and not if they go to war with the North the other major player in theatre is going to be the USAF with also has Strike Eagles, the logestics in terms of spare parts and ground crew, and then theres pilot availabiltys that are proficient on the F-15 (American crews flying SK planes,SK pilots flying American) as surly it would only take a few weeks to get used to any differances in the types. Basically everythings already in place to have a top quality force,why go with any one else even if there jet may be a few percent better on paper

The South Koreans are pretty adamant against not going to war with the DPRK- they have stated that they would rather the DPRK have nuclear weapons than risk another conflict.

Of course the aesthetic nature of the plane doesn’t matter so much- I’m surprised that the nose doesn’t interfere with its aerodynamic characteristics.
