Remind me what wars Flug Werks have fought in. Seeing that they are structurally modified so that armament cannot be fitted (by German law) they would find it hard to be a ‘warbird’ (definition: ex-military aircraft now in civilian ownership)

It does beg the question of what, ultimately, is the point and value of this register, if a ‘Significant’ airframe can be there one day, gone the next, without, apparently, any other BAPC member organisations having any knowledge of its plight.

I believe it was on something like a 10-year loan from the owner. Perhaps it has now come to the end of its loan period?

And it seems that all is not as it appears with this latest piece of news. Coulson have quoted the Government for use of the Mars, they do not yet have a contract in place.

G-SHOW became derelict at Booker many years ago. It was cancelled by the CAA in 1984, so I think it is a fair assumption that it has sat abandoned for the best part of 30 years until it was reregistered a couple of years ago
