The government already fund the BBMF and a whole host of national museums, including the RAF Museum. I think it is unreasonable to expect them to throw yet more money at this project, over and above the considerable lottery grant already earmarked.

Perhaps with hindsight they would have been better following the example of the excellent Capel-Le-Ferne Battle of Britain Memorial, which has been built in stages as funding permits, rather than the ‘all or nothing’ approach which seems to have been adopted.

The Tri-State Warbird Museum in Ohio also have a Flug Werk kit, but have presumably been fully occupied fixing their P-40M after its forced landing

Time will tell. At the moment it is a static display exhibit.

The mountain of copies in Tesco in Cambridge has vanished now Bob, to be replaced with copies of the Inter-War Bombers bookazine. Better get a copy of the Jaguar one quick, before they’re all pulped, as nowhere seems to have them on sale now.
