I need to know what new scheduled European routes have started or been announced from your local airport in the last 12 months.
I need to know the destination, frequency of flights and the airline.
I would be really grateful if everyone could help out regarding there local, or others airports they know about.
Thanks in advance.:)
I’m not sure if you just want UK airports or others too, but I’ll profile Shannon airport for you:
Airline: Centralwings
Destination(s): Gdansk
Frequency: 2 x weekly
Airline: Ryanair
Destinations: Bournemouth, Edinburgh, Madrid, Lodz
Frequency: 3,4,3 and 2 x weekly respectively
Think that’s it.
Fantastic shots!
That BritishJET Mad dog is one of the best looking ones I’ve seen in ages; very modern looking.
I think it was due to the bad weather they’re having over there. EI2132 and EI2134 were both diverted to Bangor, Maine.
Excellent TR! Glad you enjoyed your time in Dublin!
Hopefully, they will also commence operations from Glasgow or Edinburgh, too. Even competing with Emirates, I think they can be a success – probably because of their attractive fares.
Edinburgh or Glasgow would make obvious choices for Etihad’s next batch of routes. I think the market is big enough to support both Emirates and EY.
Thanks for all the comments.
Yes I did take window shots as we were approaching edinburgh but unfortunately they didn’t come out too well. Sorry!:o
nice pics! Your car looks like it’s in mint cond!
Also, am I correct in thinking that the remaining 737 bases are Belfast, Newcastle and Luton?
Not sure about the first question, but your spot on with the remaining 737 bases, I believe.;)
Lovely shots;)
The F100 looks splendid!
Thanks for the comments. Ya, the IL-62M is quite the bird allright!:D
Nice shots. Love the SAS pic. The Iberia bird could do with a wash, especially when you look at how clean the Swiss A320 is!!!
A rather limited list for me
Limited??? This is what I call limited!:
Ryanair
B732 (x3) (including the Hertz logojet)
B738 (x5)
Air Malta
A319
Aer Lingus
B735
Have EI left it too late to jump onto the Lithuania bandwagon?
I know there’s presently a large number of people travelling between the 2 countries, but can it sustain 4 Airlines.
That Emirates shot is fantastic: It must be some experience to be so close to it.
Nice shots…the Allitalia bird’s looking sharp, isn’t she?! 🙂
