It looks like Draken Int. already has three ex CzAF L159As which were sold few months ago by EADS to US company Hexadyne. Hexadyne sold the planes to “unknown” company in the USA, so now Draken knows what can buy.
Czechoslovak Air force in the middle of the 1980. Just few days these nose art stuff stayed on the planes, you know commie “politruks” cannot tolerate that kind of the pictures on the planes of the perfect socialistic army…

Thanks rumcajs. This has no engines, but I assume the museum has a few in their great collection. This is the third known survivor I think, however there was one supposedly recovered from the Neman river in 1970s or 80s. Anyone remember anything about this?
This Pe-2 has engines and will be restored to appearance of Czechoslovak Air Force livery of the second half of the 1940s similar to Il-2 and La-7 which the museum already has. The chief of the Czech army historical institution has said tha this Petljakov is most important and the greatest purchase of the museum during last 20 years… Yes, you are right, only two Pe-2 are preserved right now in whole World, and this is the third. The negotiation about purchasing took two years… This Pe-2 was recovered from some lake near Murmansk in the middle of the 1990s and later came in Norway and now it arrived to the Czechlands

The Avia B-35/135 looks like the Spitfires ugly deformed half sister.
heh, take a look at spitfire´s prototype, it looks like a slink baby, B-135 looks like real fighter from start even in prototype apperance. Anyway I feel sorry for you for your poor taste, heh
Three ex CzAF L-159As exchanged for C-295M were sold by EADS to private owner in the USA (and those are already in the USA), anybody know the identity of the owner?
And Aero Vodochody stops L-159B production line preparation, Czech ministry of defence canceled weeks ago 8 stored L-159A selling (Aero want those to rebuilt for L-159T for iraqi instruktors and technicians training before L-159B comming). Ministry and Aero are so frustrated…
