I went knowing they had put some stuff away for the winter, but i was disapointed to find the 109 in bits (litteraly fuselage on the floor wings off etc etc) The mosquito looks like its started winter maintenance too. The only possible good shot of the Halifax is the nose art.
Most of the outside fighters have got cockpit covers on, understandable with them being outside for the winter but on a nice warm sunny day like yesterday why cant they be taken off?
Its still a very good museum to go to. Friday the 13th is definately worth seeing
Elvington, which ranked as my favourite museum, until my last visit when what i consider the pride of the museum the Halifax rebuild seemed buried within other airframes.Which for me personally was very dissapointing. Is this still the case,or has she been freed 😉 visit possibly pending
Mid-Upper
Shes still buried in the middle of her hangar surrounded by all sorts of things, I suspect she will stay like that until next Spring/Summer, I was there yesterday (16th)

Have a look here http://www.johnweeks.com/b36/b36soplata.html
I assume this is the B-36 http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Fea1/101-200/Fea182_Walters-Farm_Williams/ws_s.jpg

Theres definately something in the B-36 fuselage looks more like a P-51 than a P-47 http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Fea1/101-200/Fea182_Walters-Farm_Williams/ws_w.jpg
All from this site http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Fea1/101-200/Fea182_Walters-Farm_Williams/00.shtm
I’m not sure what this is, Victor perhaps:confused: http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Fea1/101-200/Fea182_Walters-Farm_Williams/ws_f.jpg
:):) I knew that would get a comment :):)
CF-chop into little bits-then back in the oven until ash tray shaped-:)
Yes thats correct, The person in the middle is the one i would like to ID.
