They probably are that small fact dosent stop them being biast towards Ferrari. Did anyone hear about the fact that Farrari were caught with direct copied parts from Mclarens cars? It was kept very quiet and only got mentioned very quickly in the build up to the ozzy grand prix. the jist of the situation was that e-mails were going both ways last year its just another case of Farrari bending the rules.

No i cannot prove it if i could i would

F-1 as a whole is going down the tubes its far too expensive to see all the races live, but next year their on the beeb so i can watch em without any adverts:D provided i can stay awake ofcourse:mad:

It is a boring sport now:(

    hi g6hyf

i dont remember the idea of a railway but i do recall the AN2.

The aerobat incident is best left alone as they were both friends of mine.
perhaps i should not have brought the subject up.

hi all first post for a coupole of years but a thread that brings many memories flooding back.

my first flight from the aerodrome was also in one of the austers i dont remember which one but i do remember it was my first day at work after leaving school.

i only worked their for about six months but in that time i recall flying in most of the aircraft there mostly cessna150s and austers with the odd flight in a tiger moth.

one memorable day i rermember the panton brothers flying in and boasting that they had just aquired a decrepid old aircraft that didnt fly but had lots of potential after a bit of coaxing they revealed that the aircraft had four engines and could carry more than 4 people but was stuck up a pole at scampton:eek: time has shown that they were right and the aircraft has shown its potential. (lancaster just jane at east kirkby)

Does anyone remember the cessna 150 aerobat? it had long range tanks that could only be filled half full or else it couldnt do any aerobatics well some idiot filled it up to the brim with fuel:( their were a few complaints from some pilots i seem to recall that sweeping out the hanger and raising a cloud of dust kept them out of my way until it could be aerobatted again:rolleyes:

going back to a few of the previous threads the f-104 in question was 22+57 their was talk of having lightning xr770 as well but after someone decided that swinging on the nose cone of the starfighter was a good idea it was removed rather quickly

Every winter was a struggle to keep the place open ie no holiday makers no revenue apart from students learning to fly. so the place closing down was no surprise but a shame none the less.

I live two kilometres from the German border – i know what German taxis (and taxi drivers) look like. Oh yes, i do. But i hope to take you up on the taxi-day offer, an airbase-to-pub-tour would be a nice idea

Anytime you like arthur so long as its in the uk i dont possess a pass port 🙂
