chuck yeager: “Asphalt declared distance” is the area in which you aim to put down your Bell X1 after going supersonic if you don’t want to appear in an accident report.:) (It’s the runway length).

ok so according to thinking today weve evolved from the monkies and we are presumably still evolving so where will we be in ten thousand years?

According to some experts we will be able to survive a head on car collision at one hundred mph but what good is that when crude oil will be gone in a hundred years.

Some of us like flying so will we develop wings and be able to fly and if we do will we develop feathers and build nests.

We all sit at a computer at one time or another how long will it be before we develop a keyboard on one arm and a mouse on the other:cool:

they are not as stupid as u might think

Im begining to think suicide pheasants are clever. My wife cycles to work down a country lane and every day now a suicide pheasant is trying to knock her off or drive her into a ditch.:(

Although this little bit of trouble didnt start until after the original suicide attack. Perhaps they hold a grudge:cool:

if we have evolved from the monkeys why are we not at one with nature. We are destroying the earth while developing vehicles that leave the earth.

As to the theory of aliens they do exist, they are predators and they are not friendly and one way or another the human race will find another planet to live on when this one is dead.;)

going back to stupid animals i have five cats and they all vary in the brains department. The brightest one goes in the dry cat food box and feeds itself the dimmest one cannot do anything for itself except sleep. is this a sign of inteligence or the way they were brought up or genetic programming?

    Very moving photos

the Havoc photo:- A-20J 43-10129, 416th bomb group based at weathersfield, Essex. Hit by flack in the fuel tanks over France 12th May 1944.

The B-24 i belive was hit by bombs from the aircraft that took the photo although i hope im wrong on that one.
