The same can be said for lots of things, most of us collect something but how many of us actually want to share it with the general public? A few of us i’m sure do and would do, but I bet the vast majority of us dont and wont!

I collect first edition books by one author and Monopoly!

Many years later, and after Andy’s untimely death, the still-wrapped sign came to light and is now in our museum collection. It’s not really appropriate for a museum on the Isle of Man so we might consider letting it go to a more fitting home. Any suggestions?

Perhaps a phone call to the CRO at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, not sure if they have a base museum or not.

Good to see some of these road signs still exist 🙂

I heard it was also his last flight in the Royal Air Force, but I stand to be corrected on that one, a fabulous display none the less, I wonder how many pilots of the RAF in recent years can say their last flight was in a Spitfire?

A very emotional time for him i’m sure…
