G-AMPZ, now in Berlin flying from Templehof,
i flew in this aircraft and then it was sold shortly after and moved to Berlin. A year later i was backpacking around Europe and was in Berlin and it overflew me ,a nice reunion 🙂
G-AMRA, I Think this is still alive and kicking with them and replaced PZ as the historic flight dak.

G-AMPY ….still airworthy with AA?
G-AMYJ, Donated to the Yorkshire Air Museum

G-AMHJ, Donated to the Assault Glider Project at Shawbury to display alongside their Airspeed Horsa
Ive got a video of three daks flying in formation, i gues i could post a still or two if anyone is interested?
I think this information is correct albeit incomplete
best regards, steve
Have just spent 3 hours at Coningsby. No Lancaster im afraid ,while i was there, but the Dakota was doing practice displays for a good long while. I shot some 35mm B/W but for now there is a frame from some video footage shot.
The weather was awful at times, I wonder if the Lanc ever made it out?
Thanks stormin, greatly appreciated, hopefully will have some things to post tommorow if all goes well. Is she doing practice displays or anything particular?
Hello, any details for PA474 tomorrow and the rest of the flight, thanks in advance, will pop along if she’s flying. ta very much.

and an airfix bowser to refuel it 😉

As a reminder of the aircraft’s film role?Surely the ‘Belle must rank as one of the best-preserved examples of a warbird in original condition?
The original paint scheme is completely different to the film scheme anyhow, different nose art and camoflage etc.
Still, dont care too much as its the B17 flying in the air that i care about most although the wierd paint scheme does baffle me.
if she flies next tuesday i shall be there and will try and post some pictures if possible.
