ps- about 50 ? 🙂
Sadly there are no currently flying spitfires in the world as it is one of the more overlooked aircraft on the warbird market. People seem more interested i flying there numerous Stirlings, Typhoons and Battles, Maybe if the Spitfire had been a little more glamorous then we might have some 🙁

Thanks, this is the the best thread in ages! What next? Models made out coat hanger and sticky backed plastic?
what do you mean ‘models’??????? 🙂
Snapper, i think my points do have some relevance, Ken from the very beginning expected us to believe the story and was quick to patronise anybody who reaosnably disagreed, fair point though that some were unreasonable. Ken did use his war service AND his age as if this meant everyone had to listen and sit back and believe, anyone who he expected to be younger was treated like didnt have a clue.
“”And you of course would not have been “at times patronising, threatening and offensive.” “””””
No i dont believe i would, i would NEVER threaten someone or deliberately patronise them. To use and old cliche, two wrongs dont make a right, to sum up what i mean i shall jsut say that fault lies on both sides here and Ken’s behaviour is hardly faultless.
Anyway, i DEFINATELY agree that this matter has come to an end, it was a very sad week when the conspiracy theory had some of the highest number of replies ever seen and other more relevant threads were ignored,
many thanks for the reply Snapper and your work to resolve the situation and also i wish Ken every success in finding proof for his story.
Best Regards, Steve 🙂
LRCO reckon that a good percentage of the aircraft are original, sadly aircraft such as the Shackleton wont fly unless they can egt the proper permission from the design authority, in this case, Duplo
no mention pete but perhaps there is an email on there so you can contact them?

To be honest im glad ken has gone. His initial posts on the infamous mark one thread were at times patronising, threatening and offensive. If you disagreed with him reasonably as some did at first he just told us to go and read the narrative ‘properly’ or accused us of not being old enough. With a story such as his it was bound to attract a few little jokes ASWELL as serious consideration.
Ken may wish to take the moral high gorund on this one but im glad that his messages and the ‘intrigue’ her brought to the forum are gone. By the way Ken, being a world war two veteran i think earn’s you due respect. People who frequent this forum are mostly respectful and grateful. However, bringing up the fact of your age or war service whenever you go on the defensive is a little tiresome.
This is only my second post i think on the subject of the Bader Enigma, may it rest in peace.

yes, $500,000 for the flat two spot lego brick with manufacturer serial number, this is why kittyhawk cant make it on the lego warbird scene 😉
is this is ok?
one of the replicas is at a craft village in wales i believe, it shut down then reopened so i guess it will still be about. They have and Anson too amonst other things.
