steve
ps- those books are on wish list, thanks DazDaMan
good point yak 11.
if it was THAT confidential however then surely it shouldnt be brought up at all. There are enough like minded heads here to chew over the mystery until we either come to the correct or false conclusion which could be just as damaging to any deals etc.
no offence intended to droptank of course.
best regards,steve
droptank if you have information to divulge then please go ahead and share, its much better than the hint hint nudge nudge , i know something you don’t approach.
🙂
best regards, steve
Neilly, will you be flying her. It may sound silly but afterall your effort i bet you’ll be real careful with her. I remember seeing some of the pictures you posted a while since and she looks a beauty.
best regards, steve
stupid woman and stupid telegraph for publishing such drivel,
i sent them an email telling them what i thought……wonder if they’ll reply 🙂
I must say i’d agree with Philo.
The place was crowded. The flying display was lacklustre in parts. All of the displays on offer were flown beautifully, The F18 inparticular was fantastic. However, it’s not really an International Airshow celebrating 100 years of flight when the organisers have to rely on RAF types to provide pretty much the main bulk of the display. Tucano etc yawn.
I said this in another thread but why bring a spitfire and blenhiem to the show and leave them in the static. Same goes for 39sq Canberra and the Vc10. All the aircraft i wanted to see in the air were in the static. At least i saw them arrive Friday.
I must say though. Waddington does rival Alton Towers for great fairground attractions. 🙂
best regards steve
thanks stormin’
sadly i was at waddo by the time i got the message but thanks or replying anyway, i saw them on both ays.
Arrived friday and stayed long enough to see the Spit and Blenhiem arrive in formation. fantastic alhtough why they were in the static and not the flying display i do not understand.
In all i thought the airshow was quite dull apart form the fantastic F18 display, the army historic flight and the BBMF.
i watched from the A15 on Saturday and had a great day particularly for photo/videoing.
Sadly i went into the show on the Sunday, too much hassle. Too many people and numerous families from hell 🙂
Wasn’t the CL44 ‘guppy’ great……oh no wait..it wasnt there.
STEVE 🙂
anybody know what time the lanc is displaying at waddington saturday and sunday?
thanks in advance, steve
ps- oh and since we are talking heritage railways, the Keighley and Worth Valley railway wins hands down 🙂
i wonder how it got to East Kirkby? road or air?
seems odd to move it to East Kirkby if she is to continue as a flyer.
best regards, steve
To use an old cliche, an end of an era in hollywood .
star of some great films, Guns of Navarone, Cape Fear and Spellbound but to name a few.
If his legacy was to be anything though it would have to be that fabulous speech in To Kill a Mocking Bird. Real groundbreaking.
nah, the word WORK doesnt get to the moderator, SPOOKY does though 🙂
actually, didnt think that through correctly really. Duxford’s a big field, Perhaps the Mossie would be mroe useful, twice as much power 🙂
🙂
ps- i draw the line at a Lanc:)
