Nice to see Jetblue growing and providing good competition on many of its routes. My guess is after they start flying from JFK to SMF as indicated, AA will enter the same market, a la JFK-LGB. It will be interesting to see how well they do in the Carribean market.

Based on this very argument of yours, the answer would be “yes,” yet you answered “no.” Interesting.

Ok, I knew the minimum, at least. That’s the kicker. I think it would be pretty challenging to get 10 stopovers in there!

The question I have is, are/were the complaints geared towards the older A300’s only or even towards the newer generation A300-600R’s? Or both, perhaps?

Why not land with only the leading edge deployed? Is this a huge no-no? Would they have the check the landing gear, etc. after this landing?

Pac 10 took care of the Big 11 this year. If SC plays anyone from the Large 10 next season, we’ll take care of them again. 😎

The A300-600R remains in production, only fullfilling freighter orders. I believe the last passenger airline to take delivery of a -600R was JAS.

No, mine actually says Jan 2000, not 2004. I don’t remember when I actually registered, but it was around 2000.

The question is, which plane can do it with a load of passengers and a decent payload. Surely the 744ER cannot, maybe even the A345 cannot. At any rate, I think it is economically feasible to offer such a flight. SQ was in this same scenario when they started flying SIN-LAX nonstop. They already had 2 one-stop routes that allowed them to feed pax from both NRT and TPE into LAX. They didn’t cancel these routes when they introduced the non-stop. I think BA and QF would do the same. BA has 2 dailies (I believe) into SYD. One is via BKK and the other via SIN. These 2 one-stops can continue plus they can offer a non-stop as a 3rd option, for those that don’t want to stop over and that want to get to SYD in a more timely fashion.

    Skylinerworld,

I’m going to throw my own 2 cents in as well as echo some of the sentiments from others. First of all I think it is great that you have your own website. I’m more than twice your age and I surely don’t have one of my own. The fact that you advertised it once was enough. You have the link as the bottom of each post, people can see that, period. I made a comment about one of your polls being ‘lame.’ However, that’s all I said. I didn’t tell you to stop posting or anything. I just left it at that. Keep posting. Just take the constructive criticism in stride, and try to avoid things people are complaining about. In the future, I strongly suggest you don’t play the “I’m only 12 years old” card anymore. If you do that, people will have a reason to treat you as such. There are many teenagers in here, many of whom I thought were older only because they acted more mature. Furthermore, they don’t go to the “I’m only ‘so and so’ years old” card. Lastly, don’t take all this lambasting to heart as a couple of the people that have gotten on your case have issues of their own they need to worry about.

They still have 747’s and DC-8’s too. I always see plenty of both at any given time at ONT.

Oh, sorry about that! Either you have a stockbroker or you have an online account. I do the latter.
