Who’s playing in the Worthington Cup Final?
Was this drunkard a non-rev passenger while doing this? Had this happened to a U.S. based carrier pilot, he would have lost his job and faced considerable jail time, let alone being fined the equivalent of 68 quid, given how substancial the evidence is.
Thanks Bhoy. I don’t have this months AW world yet. I think I should re-subscribe since I’ve been buying off the rack now for a few years since I let my subscription run out. It would be nice if LH switched one of their 2 dailies from FRA to LAX from a 744 to an A346, a la CX. Alas, even if this were to be, it wouldn’t be in time for me to ride on it when I fly LH to OPO via FRA in June.
So is DragonAir, if I’m not mistaken. So essentially Cathay Pacific has 3 different Cargo branches going now, Cathay Cargo, Air Hong Kong, and DragonAir Cargo?
Did Air Hong Kong become DragonAir Cargo?
If Libya wasn’t behind the Lockerbie bombing, then Al-Quaeda wasn’t behind 9/11.
Interesting looking hush kits on this example. They look similar to the old water-injected JT-3 turbojets on the original 707’s in the late 50’s early 60’s with those multiple little tubular exhausts.

You’re referring to ATH Eleftherio Venizelos, right?
EK do not have 767’s. It must be a 777, as Ren is indicating.
I also enjoyed the Chelsea Rose scheme, Peter, as well as the 2 Scotland tails.

Hmmm… obviously they failed to notice the large blue lettering at the sharp end saying “British Airways”:D
Anyone who had trouble identifying BA world tail planes as belonging to the company, have no business knowing anything about airplanes, or anything, for that matter. If they failed to notice the titling as Ren mentioned, then too bad.
That Pan Am A340 is good stuff, Peter!

What is this 727-200 Advanced doing at Aruba in 2000?
That is obviously Pan Am mk.II or mk.III. They fly Carribean routes from MIA, I believe.
I never flew them. In the 80’s most of the Greeks flew TWA from the U.S. to Greece. A small handful flew Pan Am. I was at the mercy of my parents and we flew TWA, also a great airline with mystique that rivals Pan Am.

OK OK , I will never criticize BA any more in any way. I forgot that this was a Brit forum. 🙂
Us ‘non-Brits’ do have to watch ourselves once in while, Hand. 😉 I think it was an absolute shame the world tails were thwarted after only a couple of years. I always enjoy seeing them every now and again.

I agree bmi c/s is superb.
I agree it is supurb, as well. The way the Union Flag is superimposed on the tail, is just genious.
Best colour scheme in the world, in my opinion, is BWIA.
Love that LH A340-600. Anybody know if they have entered service yet? If not, when?
I went to that site and even though I couldn’t understand any of the wording, I did notice the A346 in ‘Air Force One’ colours. Even if Hell freezes over before an Airbus is used as the U.S. Presidential transport, it did look fantastic in that colour scheme.
