God isnt anyone allowed to have a joke on here? I love Michaels music.
Michael’s music is good, and I was a fan back in ’84 before he had all that crap done to his person. Arrogance, stereotypical, or otherwise. Jacko is a freak, period.
If you don’t have anit-lock brakes, you pump the brake petal. That’s how we are taught in the states.

Greekdude, i think you’ll see a couple of Qantas A380s in there everyday
I think my last post was a little vague, Steve. What I meant by “I’m guessing there won’t be any more than one there at any given time,” I was only referring to AF parked at terminal 5. It will be impossible to park 2 A380’s at that terminal, and still have enough room to accomodate DL’s aircraft (T5 is solely theirs at LAX, plus a few Skyteam members). QF operates out of the Bradley Intl terminal, which will have plenty of room to accomodate the A380’s at its remote gates. Given that there are as many as 4 QF 744’s parked on the ramp at LAX at any given time, I don’t doubt that there will be a couple of A380’s substituting in the near future.
Now that is very nice!
Possible merger w/ Easyjet in the near future, perhaps?
I don’t even think it is that far.

At what side of the globe is this route operated; via canada or via europe?
Which route are you referring to, the SIN-EWR non-stop route? If so, it goes directly over the poll, according to SQ’s website. 18 hours in each direction. SIN-LAX is operated over the Pacific, not Europe.

You might be correct with EWR.
Anyway that’s NY right ? 🙂
Yes, and probably the closest in proximity to Manhattan out of the 3 NY airports, and the busiest in terms of pax. SQ currently serves both via FRA and AMS from SIN.

Totally off the suject but it looks like there is a lot of building work going on in the city with all the cranes.
I’ve been going to Sydney 1-2 times a year since 1999, and there is always construction going on in downtown. That is why it is, in my opinion, the nicest downtown of any major metro city that I have been to, and I’ve been to a good handlful.
I think that shot was taken from the observation deck. It was not in operation yet when I was last there in April. I’m definitely going to go up there next time down in Dec. perhaps.
Mongu, good to see you in here again. You don’t come in often enough.
The remote gates at the Bradley terminal at LAX will be able to handle it. The main gates at Bradley will not, I don’t think, unless they space them out. If that happens, you’re eliminating parking spaces, however. I’m guessing they are just going to park them at remote. Terminal 5 might be able to handle one of AF’s A380’s. I’m also guessing there won’t be any more than one there at any given time.
MNL-YVR is kind of pushing it for an A340-300, isn’t it, at least on the westbound sector? I know When Phillipine does SFO/LAX-MNL, on the westbound sector, they stop in HNL to refuel with the A340. With the 744, they don’t have to.
That is very large, indeed. Rather impossible to view all at once.
That Chelsae Rose 777 is very above average, Good job Mike.
Looks like it undershot the runway. Is that dirt or concrete in front of the aircraft?
