Their A330’s have proved disapointing on the domestic schedules, so they’re switching them to the international schedule.
I’m just curious as to which categorie they have been disappointing?
Maybe George will get to see those beautiful Vietnam Airlines 777’s at LAX in the near future
Indeed!! 😀 Myself and BigRed included. They have a nice livery. According to BigRed, CX had numberous pax on both of their flights continuing on to Ho Chi Min. The demand is there.
Codeshares aren’t always at the same prices. The carrier that operates the flight, is usually the cheapest.
Not necessarily. Just today I booked my flight for Vegas later on in May. I had been checking for months on both Orbitz and UAL.com. My flights have USAirways flight numbers, operated by United, booked on UAL.com. The same exact itinerary, booked as regular United flights (not the US codeshare) also on UAL.com, was double the price. I paid $177US.
Are these ex-EAL examples?
you call EasyJet and Southwest viabrent???
Easyjet, no. Old brown Southwest, no. New blue Southwest, YES.
I’m guessing that they will be blended winglets, not unlike the 737’s. They won’t look like the 747 winglets, Dartie.
“This is a routine air sovereignty operation,” said Capt. Dave Muralt of Norad.
Oh yeah. If I was on this flight and I looked outside the window and saw an F-18, this exact quote would have come to my mind! 😮
Did Boeing ever sold 757’s with winglets?
No, any wingletted 757 will be aftermarket.
No doubt, photo of the month! Very close formation for those big boys. I wonder at what altitude they’re at?
I am planning to go down to AMS but ala the previous thread I posted earlier this year, we couldn’t really decide on a date? 😎
If you could make it on July 23rd, fantastic.
BigRedMD-11 makes mention of the mechanics at LAX always complaining about the “Scare-busses.” I’ll get him in here to make comment on it as I don’t want to give any false details.
Thanks for that Sandy. I now realize where my mistake was. I was just clicking on the “insert image” icon near the top. I wasn’t seeing the “manage attachments” link near the bottom there.
Southwests’ Canyon Blue livery is very vibrant. Their brown one was attrocious. Jetblue also has very above-average tail designs that I would classify as vibrant, to go along with their royal-blue bellies and cowlings.
How do we do that, because I was just kind of goofing around with it, and couldn’t see the difference from before. Do we just put comma’s in between attachments, or something?
I couldn’t tell you, to be honest. Even from a diplomatic standpoint, it’s a pretty good idea I suppose. If the load-factors turn out to be bad, then maybe your question will have been answered. If they have had sufficient pax connecting in NRT or HKG onto other airlines into Vietnam, then perhaps they thought it was time to do service of their own.
By the way, where do you get the wavy flag avatars?
