So this black scheme was Titan’s old scheme? I thought it was new. I don’t think anyone will be copying Titan’s current scheme anytime soon, or ever, it’s so bad!

I have a boatload of ‘Hemispheres,’ which is UA’s inflight magazine. I have random ones from other carriers, dating back several years. If you are really interested, send me a PM and we can work something out.

That black Titan scheme is very above average. The current scheme sucks, personally. Even the ‘Saudi’ scheme was nice.

Not at all. Paper tickets are obsolete, anyway. I’ve been using E-tickets for years now. I still see a lot of these foreign pax using these paper tickets that have multiple red carbon sheets on them, and I just laugh. Paper tickets need to be done away with, completely. As it is, I’m a little peeved because I am being issued a paper ticket on my upcoming ONT-AMS trip because 1 of the 8 segments is operated by Singapore Airlines. Apparantly SQ has not adopted the e-ticket as of yet, therefore United had to issue a paper ticket to me in order to accomodate them.

I just read this yesterday. UA will use existing partners Air Wisconsin, Mesa, and Trans States, in addition to their 3 new USAirways Express partners. You lose one regional partner, you gain 3 plus mobilize a few existing ones. There are definitely bigger tragedies in the aviation industry.

    skylinerworld.

I’d be willing to bet that you’ll be there by summer.

Airline Owner, congrats on your 1K, however, read the post I made to Skylinerworld in his MAN thread. That officially applies to you, as well.

That’s good quality, Jeanske, regardless of your resizing program. I like how the cows have close proximity to the airfield. You were pretty close to that 727, did they let you onto the ramp for those shots? 😉

Geez, I’ve had so many throughout the years. Perhaps the first time I remember flying on a 747, it was TWA in 1983 when I was 9, from LAX-JFK. The reason I say ‘remember’ because when I was 2, we also flew on TWA from LAX-ATH via JFK. Those 4 segments could have been a combination of 747’s, L1011’s, and even a 707, perhaps. In 1976, there were still quite a few of those flying around. I am still, to this day, trying to find out for sure the aircraft types on those segments. I even have the dates, if anyone is able to help me out.
