I do do the odd signing, but was interested to know who, in particular, invited folk to eg North Weald.
And would love to know why all these old chaps travel hundreds of miles to events several times a year. Boredom, comraderie, fame, money??
The last thing I want to do is talk about my war. Been & gone. My speciality is attempting to put history right. SO much is like Wikipedia – an off the cuff view without substantiation. Even things like Corgi Toys misrepresenting aircraft codes. Not important? If only Blair had read history??
