the bottom pic, Red Code 67, i thought that was for the early Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker impression??
this i remember very well and i felt the design was ‘out of this world’ back then. boy, missed the good old days…

“Interestingly, the early artist impressions I have of the Su-27 make it look like a Heavy Hornet looking side on, with similar semi-circular intakes. Man, Do I need a SCANNER!”
…i remember i saw that last impression before from Popular Mechanics magazine, and it clearly said that it was a Su-27 Flanker impression.

“I wonder if the J-79 from the F-4 would be to large for a F-5G/F-20 type conversion???”
something like the attachment?! i’m no artist but used a jf-17 as a reference…
Rafale would be nice.
at least the Rafale is more advanced than the current IAF fleet.
the clip reminds of the Rafale clip i saw couple of years back, when the Rafale barely recovered after a loop. mind you, the Rafale was able to pull-up BUT almost flew to the ocean instead of the runway shown here with the Eurofighter.
what’s so super about it?? to me, i see it as the ‘Soviet’ -ized Hornet. sorta like a ‘Mini-Flanker’ from the prototype T-10.
Did you know that John Merrick and my Mother-in-law are twins
really?!
is it just me…
the frontal shot of the Beluga sorta reminds me of the movie, “the elephant man.”
i must say that one little picture can connect other people from around the globe. thanks, guys.
nice little jet…
thanks, guys…
i’ll give it a try with all the codes mentioned. my trusty old laptop gave out and had to get another one.
Hi all
Anyone know the climb rate of the typhoon, or any time to height recordings. Just watched a video;

Really is very impressive. 😮 The fact that it’s carrying 2 tanks, 2 ASRAAM, and 4 AMRAAM and still can point straight up I believe is remarkable. Brings me to the question in QRA status, does it have a T/W ratio of greater than 1 to 1, when loaded with the standard QRA loadout? Also can any other fighter match this type of performance, not only when clean but loaded aswell?
will 😎
“Impressive” indeed. clip’s a little shaky but it sure is impressive watching the take-off/climb-up.
FRIGGIN’ CRAZY!!!
