Ok , just for arguement sake, they manage to kill 2 carrier groups.

Which carriers would they lose and what would happen to them? Would they be willing to sell one? Would any one be willing to buy one?

If the answer to any of that is yes and yes i know its like a 17,000,000 to 1 chance but the only people I can think who could manage it is the French. Although they dont have the money.

As you can see a sort of evolution through understanding more of ship design, taking input from people. Looking at situaitons that were likely to happen e.t.c

here are some of the designs that have been thrown around by actual designers:

go with the harrier ramp. What im looking at is the F-35B working of CVN without causing much disruption. Also aiding F-35C with a full load.

Watched the Carrier series episode where they are taking off and landing on a pitching enterprise, I bet every one of them would say hey if I can take off from a ramp that is throwing me up straight away, rather than the dip you get with a flat top, I’ll take it. Especially when the ship is pitching like that, dont wanna get fired into the water now!

My thing here is that as always with me and the C3. I want as many of them as possible.

I have seen that today a Cumberland the Type 22 frigate, returned from anti pirate ops in Somalia and that we have had an RFA ship conducting anti narcotics ops.

I want a basic ship with limited capabilities that can do this type of operations. If there is chances of engagements with serious threats like Subs e.t.c I wouldnt have this ship any where near it if possible.

Also today we had one magazine talking about how adaptable the type 45 is and how it can do many types of ops. well if we are lucky and we have 5 available at one time I dont wanna read that one of them is searching fast boats off the coast of Trinidad for heavens sake.

still believe that a ramp on cat 1 and 2 wouldnt cause an issue to the carrier. You might even find that the carrier could launch in more extreme weather situations?

Finished in 2012 – at a Naval dockyard by 2014.

That seems like a long period of time.

I think that it will be a fantastic Carrier and a massive jump for india, I just wish they could have it now 😛

my meoldrama was tongue in cheek.

I think we all expected some tinkering to happen before it was all sorted.

What I am disappointed in is the fact that we havent increased our pool resources when it comes to phalanx e.t.c

We have a world where anti shippinng missiles are prevolent and what we need are ships at sea that can defend themselves.
