    its a shame we cant have a bomber comand memorial flight as well as a BBMF flight, one each of the big heavies and the medium smaller aircraft would be a sight

    elsham tower long gone one hanger remains one runway dug up for hardcore road over the top, not sure about snaith,or ricall dont know if leven or paul airfield were ever ww2 stations or if they had towers any info?

    most of the stuff from transport museum was on loan from mod/ imperial war museum so a lot went back down south a lot went by drops from a local ta unit and low loaders for the rest from catterick. as for tail section yes i did sneek a peek not a bad view

    yes u can tour the beverley me and my dad where looking in and around just before crimbo had my own personal guided tour, he didnt fly in the beverley but did argosy caribou and hercs pretty good stuff

    i forgot to mention there is a tower at raf cowden ranges. patrington didnt have a tower neither did holmpton, dont know if there is a tower at full sutton havnt seen one at pocklington, dont know if one still exsists at acaster malbis clifton moor is long gone, brough control tower about to be used as a business centre.

    no control tower at hedon yorkshire or buildings, now a grass field with cattle. also no control tower at driffield site and hangers remain, no runway. control tower still intact at leconfield, no tower at breighton? not sure about lisset control tower at catfoss intact, not sure if carnaby near bridlington had a tower, runway remains (its the main road into the industrial estate.

    i remember about an article in the hull daily mail about one of our museums in hull that had deactivated bombs from a zeppelin as an exibit,

    Due to hitlers attempt at burning hull down, this very large and old museum to a couple of direct hits destroying it completely, 60 years later after the site was cleared and turned into a car park, and they found these zeppelin bombs, wich in turn caused E,O,D, to turn up beliving them to be of nazi origin and end up sealing part of the city, goes back to another thread about how safe is a U,X,B?
