    Hi All,
    Moggy c,
Yes a nurse when I went into hospital when first diagnosed with diabetes and as she dealt with diabetics on a daily basis I assumed as any normal person would she knew what she was on about, but I grant you I have never done any research into this but will do so and let you know if your interested.
I have found this and while I admit it does not apply to sugar as in what we know in the granulated form it does refer to it’s chemical forms so to speak.

    Hi All,
Anybody ever watch Robby Coltraine in his Planes and Automobiles documentary featuring the Supercharger episode, it has a small segment featuring the Spitfire/Merlin and Me109/DB aircraft and the engines, fast forward to 12:16 in the video link. There was a this chap ‘Siegfreid Knoll’ who actively sought the DB engines restoring them etc. what ever happened to him as far as I can recall I have never seen any more about him. Mathias I just wondered if you know about this chap in the video below. Another cracking set of pictures Matthias. :applause:

    Hi All,
Can anybody help explain why the Ukraine AF has not obliterated all this so called Russian armament convoys within it’s borders please ? In some cases miles inside Ukraine apparently ? I do not understand why when they have the ground attack capability these convoys have not been decimated, they all seem to be traveling at a slow pace with vehicles in the tens rather than the odd five or six, to my mind this is all now propaganda if it isn’t there is more going on in this war than is being told.
Could it be that if the UKAF did attack it would mean Russia would be given an excuse to retaliate officially declaring war on Ukraine or is it that is the reason these military armoured convoys are being left unhindered ? And yes I realise as they say the first casualty in war is the truth none the less my question still stands.

    Hi All,
    Seafuryfan,
If your worried about the sugar content in food and diabetes I would recommend a visit to your GP and have a blood sugar level test to see if you have diabetes, you do not have to be obese or overweight you can be fit as the proverbial butchers dog and still have contracted the disease in fact many have it and never realise it I recommend a test to everyone who mention it.
The other thing about it’s use in food is that is added just as a bulking agent for example it’s piled into Margarine and Milk especially all in the name of making a profit for the company that produces whatever item of food they are selling.

    Hi All,
I was thinking along the lines of were the aircraft are situated at present could not some cover be built over them just to keep the weather out ? that would just have a small inconvenience of moving the aircraft around while be constructed, I would go so far as to say be capable of expanding if any other civil airframes are brought in, failing that like already suggested by Propstrike the footprint of the old hanger would be an excellent starting point.
I mean they have movable ceilings in modern football stadiums what about a similar construction type hanger that could accommodate new inventory ? I know all of you must think I am mad for these outlandish Ideas but I think they are a real possibility with the right Planning/Advice and of coarse the black hole of funding.

    Hi All,
    Moggy C,
Not really, I realise that Charlie was a secular magazine but the question still stands, are there any Muslim satirical magazines ? I can imagine that there must be those Muslims who take the micky out of their faith but would they ever produce it in a format such as Charlie did with a whole host of topics and religions. As an example I found this woman quite by accident who has had death threats because of her act.

    Hi All,
    Mr Merry,
I knew about the medical every five years but I just thought something else had been changed as regards lapsed licenses, I am getting my blood sugar levels sorted out as without these being under control I haven’t a hope of getting back behind the wheel of an Artic.

    Hi All,
I just wonder if everything had been reversed with some Europeans doing the deed on a Muslim Satirical/Political magazine if the same media coverage would be given ? Another thought is are there any Muslim satirical magazines ? Can you imagine the outrage if this did happen I am certain we would then be inundated with this kind of attack around the world and not just in the few countries of resent months, as it is I think this is possibly the tip of the iceberg with more to come as a soft target is an easier option than a target who can actually hit bag as all bully’s have found out.
Some claim that these attackers do not represent the Muslim faith yet 9/10 times in attacks like these they are done in the name of the Muslim prophet Mohamed while screaming at the top their lung Aloha Akbar, is it any wonder then everybody jumps in with it’s them baddy Muslims. I can see that it is the radical side of the faith that is ruining the Muslim religion, however there are not enough genuine peaceful Muslims coming fourth and screaming at the top of their voices that these radicals are nothing to do with us the peaceful Muslims. This is were they draw their power from they know a lot of peaceful muslims dare not speak out for fear of retaliation on them it is also I believe their belief they are doing what is right but how the hell can you fight a religion that teaches the radicalisation from a young age in some cases let alone turns the peaceful Muslim into the radical robot.
What I will never understand is why when these pillocks are caught they are not shipped abroad if they are not born say for instance the UK, it seems to be more about these pillocks human rights never mind the carnage they have inflicted or planned, I suppose you will have now all and sundry claiming the French could have taken them alive but when they are faced with robotic gunslingers who do not listen to reason what are they supposed to do just let them either to carry on murdering the innocent victims or to escape without hope for any justice ?
In my mind the old adage of ”If you live by the sword-You die by the sword” has proven to be correct in this specific case, it’s o.k. giving every Dirty Harry wannabe/Rambo with a rag on his head the benefit of the doubt, but like all service men whether civilian fire arms officers or military it’s about making split decisions on the spot when your faced with someone actually firing with the sole intent of killing you. I doubt anybody on here would ever really want to be put in a situation like that, you only have to ask yourselves if you had a gun and one of these planks was threatening your Family member what would you do ? knowing that they are just as likely to kill that family member even if you put down your weapon in the hope they would be talked around.
You can’t talk to someone who will ignore what you say and thinks what they are doing is for their God/Religion/Doctrine etc.etc. in that case you are left with only one option no matter how distasteful that will be, as I assume not everybody who has killed in self defence has enjoyed what they have done.
