I’m already sick of it. In mid September I went into a pub that had a tree up and when I asked why I was told it was so they could get bookings for Christmas.
I have Muslim and Sikh friends who feel that they have to give gifts because of the retail fest also know as Christmas.

But please, Christmas is a religious festival, or it used to be.

Do you like Christmas or not? Don’t give the standard ‘It’s just for the kids’ reply. Take them to church and then I might listen.

I’m off to read a book called ‘A Grumpy Old Christmas’ 😀

I know it is celebrated as a Christian celebration but wasn’t it originally a Pagan ritual ? As far as I am concerned you either like it or lump it, I do agree though it has been commercialised to death bringing all the problems trying to keep the little cherubs happy for two days :highly_amused: anyway it’s about giving not receiving I think everybody should give a little at Crimbo and I am as tight as a Nun’s proverbial dooda. Anyway here’s to all you scrooge’s out there :highly_amused:

Some little chav young lady giving me a hand at pruning a bush in my front garden while walking her dog after collecting her son from school, I am not one to moan but how are people meant to know right from wrong when they see their own parents just doing what they want ? This thread is getting as bad as some threads on the Status Quo forum :highly_amused: what they call the current line up Panta Quo vs FF(Frantic Four), isn’t the point to anything if you like it like it you don’t have to endure other episode no matter what era Dr is your favourite just enjoy it while it’s around, having said that there is one bone of contention with the 50th hype, why nobody included a Peter Cushing lookalike in the line up ? just saying .

This new craze knockout has had at least one little scrote banged up already, the little **** decided to try it on a chap waiting to collect his daughter off a school bus, only he didn’t count on getting payback, the chap shot him twice and now the little **** is banged up for a year, his comment ! (It’s only a game!) when interviewed in jail, watch the video below.
