The Tomorrow War – 2021 via Amazon Prime.  An excellent back to a good old fashioned none PC/Woke – take your brain out relax and enjoy entertainment.    If you like your Sci-Fi you should like this with a few classic Sci-Fi references in some scenes which only add to the film IMHO.  There  are rumours of a sequel so I for one am keeping my fingers crossed…

Four chapters into Cagney By Cagney so far a great insight to his early life and beginning of his career.

Mr Cagney was advised to do this autobiography being as there were other unofficial books being written.   This book IMO is the true autobiography of the actors life and from his own lips not the musings of somebody who thinks they know all about him after researching other material already available.

 Just about to start The Seed and the Sower & Night of the New Moon by Sir Laurens van der Post based around his experiences as a prisoner of war of the Japanese in World War II. 

The books dramatized in the 1983 film starring:- David Bowie,Tom Conti, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Takeshi Kitano and Jack Thompson.

I watched the film many years ago so when I have read the book I can then re-watch  the film, but the last time I watched it I enjoyed and it has slipped under the radar as one of David Bowies good acting roles IMPO.

 Five chapters in to Jaws by Peter Benchley.  Having watched the film a few times I thought it about time to read the book that the film was based on.  IHMO having watched the film it adds to the reading as you can picture the main characters that helps the storyline.

EDIT: A couple of differences from the film but none the les still a good read.
