    BEA and BOAC were different entities to BA and what airline would fly a plane about that didn’t display to the world their current incarnation? (all other retro schemes dispaly the current name of the airline)

    BA did have a B747 classic in BOAC livery for a very very very short time in the late 90’s I believe.

    I’d love to see a B777 in BOAC livery. An A320 in BEA livery with red wings would also look good I think.

    or just bring back the landor livery!

    I grew up in Southall, West London and if I recall correctly Southall police station has an air raid siren on top of it. Infact, I remember they still tested it fairly regularly and assume they still do (I moved out of southall back in 2000) Maybe if you contact them they might be able to answer your questions? 🙂

    Theres a pic on liveleak which isn’t nice.. although from a distance I dont think the pilot can be seen in this pic either..
