Nice shots there. Good catches. 🙂

Sorry, have you been looking for me for some reason? Things have been a bit rough of late; my nan had a heart attack a month ago and spent a few days in hospital, a week later a cousin of mine that lives in Thailand had a heart attack and died.. about a week after I came down with shingles and my nan that had the heart attack ended up in hospital with blood poisoning and low potassium. She’s doing well now though and is back home and well. We had a family gathering in London last sunday in remembrance of my cousin. Couple this with starting a criminal psychology course (completed criminology last month) I’ve been very very drained lately.

That is sad. Sounds like he was very depressed. 🙁

I also ended up watching the news until the early hours in hope that there would be no fatalities. It’s such sad news that the helicopter crew were killed and others on the ground too.

I hear that they had a minutes silence in remembrance earlier today which is ironic really as at the time I was at a memorial in London for a relative of mine that had died in Thailand a few weeks ago.

    Re 5

The Dakota/DC3 is in a hangar. The 727 or it might have been a 737, I don’t much know the difference is/are parked near the eastern end of the airfield. When you write ‘which’, I don’t know what that means.

You don’t know the difference between a B727 and a B737? Apart from the nose section there is a lot that’s different between the two. 🙂

No one has defended the officers. We’ve all said what they did was wrong, but if Mitchell hadn’t had a childish tantrum this wouldn’t have happened.

The thing is though is that if Mitchell has always treated others badly it was only time until someone stitched him up. You can only wind people up so much before you suffer the repercussions of that behaviour.

I agree with Derekf, Mitchell is to blame. I don’t condone the Constables actions afterwards, but if Mitchell had behaved himself then this whole thing wouldn’t have escalated.
