LOL, seems somebody going to lose his handler, as he previously promised if his 23 meters length estimation is wrong, he will not sign in using back the current ID.

Well, I retaliate the words I said then, he had already lost numerous handlers in such way thus I won’t be surprise he is doing again.:D

    Deino,

According to Hui Tong, J-16 is a version of the J-11BS comparable to American F-15E. Sort of a ‘strike flanker’.

J-15S – A twin seat trainer version of the above
    J-16 – J-11BS version comparable to F-15E possibly replacing both JH-7/7A & Su-30MKK
J-20 – Like you said, we all what this is

Designations from J-17 to J-19 are unclear. There is the so called ‘silent flanker’ by SAC and another based on the failed SAC J-XX proposal. But, these 2 seem to overlap allot http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/konfus/a050.gif

I would say the J 16 a ” silent flanker”, similar to the ” silent eagle”, so it doesn’t contradict the role that F 15e also doing.

Black Eagle is only the thread openner’s own wish/oppinion on the J-20’s nickname.

While officially, PLAAF likes to name its fighter jets as some sort of “dragon”.

BTW, a close up look of the J-20’s engine nozzles:

How ironic, Libya supposed to be rafale’s first oversea market. But now, France to be the leader to punch its fighter jet’s potential 1st customer.

Ahem, may I point people to my neglected pic above and humbly request them to answer my question? What is the object highlighted by the red circle?

The words in circle are the question of ” what’s it ??” As the same u r asking.

Libya detains NATO troops during rescue mission

Rebels try to learn how to fire anti-aircraft guns as Gadhafi’s jets launch new attack

Three Dutch marines were being held by authorities in Libya after they were captured by forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi while trying to rescue stranded workers, officials said Thursday. The trio were surrounded by armed men and captured Sunday after landing near Sirte in a Lynx helicopter that was on board the navy ship HMS Tromp, which is anchored off the Libyan coast to help evacuations from the conflict-torn country, Dutch Defense Ministry spokesman Otte Beeksma told The Associated Press.

…Besides the Chinese nationals, some Nepalese and Bangladeshi citizens still stranded in the southern Libyan city of Sebha would also be evacuated by the Chinese transporters, according to Li.

Does anyone have any more info on the PLAN’s re-deployment of part of the anti-piracy task force (namely an 054A FFG) to Libyan waters to help with the evacuation of foreign nationals?

…Any news on when the 054A would arrive in Libyan waters (if it hasn’t already), and/or what it has been up to when/since it gets/got there?

Wondering wether the FFG 530 “Xuzhou” has brought enough HQ-16 AAms or not…:D

anyway, pirates don’t have the fighter jets but the mission that “xuzhou” needs to cover may encounter hostile air targets.

Emile the handle may worth penny in this english forum, but it’s a quite known back in Chinese forums.:D

So to spicy it up, if he not only abandons his id in english forum but also in chinese ones, that could be a deal worth to trade with ” J-30 hotdog” :diablo:

Oh, forget to add: he already lost quite a number of “emile” ids in various Chinese forums as well, that didn’t hinder him to have a new ID and still recognizable in a few moments 😀

good replacement for their MiG-29s, probably more better spare support.
but politically, Russia is always one of Serbia’s most important allies, especially in the international arena. So they will stick with the MiG-29s regardless.

    Who knows,

If they won’t buy J-10, perhaps they will buy FC-1 instead:
