J-10’s next customner: Serbia?
The J-10 performed in front of visiting Serbian Defence Minister last year,
Note it’s almost vertical take-off as usual
Hope this new picture can silence many “NO WEAPON BAY” voices :dev2:
Mod Edit: This image was too large for this forum. Please re-post in a smaller size, or provide a link instead.
AC313 Heavy helicopter successfully operates at Mt Everest Base camp

that’s not the bays, just the access panel and wheel bay.
and no you do not need to squint to see the bays based on the resolution of these pictures, if they existed you would be able to see it already.there’s no bays.
…
Highlighted by white arrow pointing in below image. tell me what access panel and wheel bay is rectangle shaped and located there?

All that I “understand better” is that you would like me not to speak, while you want to be free to speak.
Sorry Mr Pinko, I will not be silenced. I have taken the time to provide forum readers with a short summary of a news report which I thought they might find interesting. No-one is required to accept the reported facts, or even to like them.
If my postings are not to your liking, feel free to ignore them in future.
That’s quite funny, sir, to be witnessed by everyone here, from where and when did i like or whateverso you NOT to speak? ! 😮
I would hate to live in Mr Pinko’s ‘somewhere near heaven’. Who would be authorised to decide which mouths should be silenced and which would be allowed to speak?
…
That showcases someone’s comprehensive ability, let me re-quote my original (in blue) and highlight the key words to make you understand better
” Everybody got the mouth, what one can do is tight-lips his own mouth and let the work speaks itself, and let other mouths do the talking“
…Not surprisingly, Russian industry is playing down the J-20, but there are some points of interest in an 8 January Jane’s report written by a Russia-based correspondent who seems to have good access to various design bureaus there.
The Russians apparently had photos and drawings of the J-20 about six months ago and claim that the design shows a strong Russian influence.
Some Russia sources believe that the structure – at least in its current form – is currently almost entirely made from aluminium alloy, and is unlikely to contain any exotic or stealthy materials. They see full production of the definitive design as being about 10 years away.
Russia does not know what type of engine the two prototypes use. It has not officially exported any 117S engines to China, several sources told Jane’s, but they accepted that China may have acquired some. According to Russian daily Vedomosti, which is citing sources in the Russian MoD and Rosoboronexport, China wants to buy large numbers of 117S engines.
Everybody got the mouth, what one can do is tight-lips his own mouth and let the work speaks itself, and let other mouths do the talking.
I can’t see any, either.
Maybe this is just a technology demonstrator, & the real prototype (with weapons bays, etc) is yet to come. Plenty of precedents.
Just use some simple logics, no weapon bay , how to demo aerodynamics?
Sorry, Keypublishing server, but today is a special day :p

Aren’t canards and stealth thought by certain “experts” to be mutually exclusive?
Hasn’t anybody informed the Chinese of this “fact?”
Ya, the same “expert” also announced the JSF is “flying PIG”, should this “fact” also need to be informed ?
I believe I can fly…. :D:cool::cool:
Pinko,
I remember this table from a few years back (Attached image)
So is it correct to say :
WS-10 – 12,800 kgf (Also called FSW-10 and is used in the J-11B/BS/BH/BSH)
WS-10A – 13,200 kgf
WS-10B – 13,500 kgf & TVC
WS-10G – At least 14,500 kgf (maybe 15,500 kgf & 3D TVC)All the above are by Shenyang?
Xian : WS-9 QinLing, QinLing-2, WS-15
The Ws-10G FADEC by Honglin ( AVIC Factory 143) is tailor made, and exclusively tested for powering the J-20 tentatively, it was reported widely in 08,2009, only we thought it’s WS-15 prototype. AVIC factory 143 is NOT locatd in Shenyabg but in Guizhou, quite close to Chengdu, Chengdu & Shenyang seem not getting so well as CAC never uses engines manufactured in Shengyang 😉
But it’s reported 2nd “Taihang” engine line will be out of Shenyang as well in X’ian.
The FADEC for WS-10 has certified as reported in official media ( AVIC website), now even the oridnary WS-10 manufactured now has come with FADEC
I think its better to learn about FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) Shinnosuke! Seems like they have eagle eyes to see its fadec system:) Then they believe its an WS-10G:)
I think Shinnosuke’s picture is to show that the engine is NOT a Russian one, while the FADEC thingy is obtained through Chinese official media report.
From the highlighted part of the pic, we know the AL-31 series engine’s nozzle arrangement is different from the highlighted
IMO, the unidentified engine with shiny but short petals is FADEC equipped WS-10G. 2 WS-10G were handled over in 08.2009 by Honglin ( AVIC Factory 143), then we believe it’s WS-15 prototype, but now it seems it’s WS-10G with uprated thrust at 14.5 Tons max,
BTW, where’s Crobato ( Tam)? it’s a bit strange that he doesn’t show up in such an event?
